Activities
Currently, we offer five week-long sessions each year. Honoring Our Veterans covers the cost of
airfare ,transportation, lodging, meals, activities and equipment
so there is no cost to the wounded veteran. During our sessions we maximize the healing potential of nature. We are fortunate to have an amazing volunteer staff of expert instructors and guides who are constantly willing to help with this mission.
Photography
We have teamed up with some of the country’s best photographers to enhance our veterans’ knowledge of digital photography through lectures, personal instruction, and on-location shoots. You will enjoy a variety of scenery around Jackson/Grand Teton area, historic buildings, wildlife photography opportunities, learn night sky photography. You’ll be introduced to editing photos. No experience is required and no camera/computer gear is required. You will be provided everything you need, but you’re welcome to bring your own gear if you have it. You’ll also go home with a large print of your favorite image. Click HERE to apply.

Fly Fishing
The Fly Fishing Therapy Session features fly casting instruction, a fly tying class and workshop, education on good river stewardship and the etymology of our region, and fly fishing trips on the beautiful waters of the historic Snake River in Jackson Hole. Click HERE to apply.

Woodcarving
We introduce Veterans to the tools and different woods that woodworkers utilize and how to implement them in a variety of woodworking projects. They learn sharpening and tool maintenance, carving tehiquest for traditional hard carving, as well as power carving and chainsaw carving. These hands-on classes are taught in a relaxed, informal fun environment and are designed to give the Veteran the knowledge to continue to build their skills after they return home.
